Finance System Engineer

6sense, a leading B2B organization specializing in Revenue AI, is seeking a Finance System Engineer to join their team in Pune, India. This role represents a unique opportunity to blend financial expertise with technical system engineering, focusing on the company's financial planning platform, Pigment.

The position requires someone who can bridge the gap between finance and technology, designing and implementing sophisticated financial models while maintaining and optimizing the company's planning systems. You'll be working with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, accounting, and business teams, to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.

As a Finance System Engineer, you'll be responsible for owning and maintaining the Pigment platform, creating automated processes, and ensuring data accuracy and system integrity. The role demands strong technical skills, particularly in SQL and data modeling, combined with a deep understanding of financial processes and planning.

The ideal candidate brings 5-7+ years of relevant experience, with a background in finance systems or enterprise performance management. You should be comfortable with both technical aspects (SQL, data modeling, system administration) and financial concepts (SaaS metrics, workforce planning, capital forecasting).
