As the primary point of contact for automation accounts, you'll handle both technical support and customer experience management. Key aspects of the role include providing both Level I and II technical support, implementing quality systems, conducting customer training, and maintaining system performance. You'll be responsible for resolving hardware, software, and reagent issues, with Level I support handling quick fixes (under 1.5 hours) and Level II addressing more complex problems.

Responsibilities For Field Service Automation Engineer

  • Provide technical Level I and II phone and on-site support
  • Implement and maintain quality system effectiveness
  • Perform proactive service support activities
  • Troubleshoot and identify root causes of issues
  • Record documentation of customer complaints and resolutions
  • Plan and execute customer training events
  • Coordinate order delivery and billing
  • Partner with Account Managers for lab strategy
  • Maintain customer relationships and satisfaction

Requirements For Field Service Automation Engineer

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of relevant experience with instrumentation in laboratory environment
  • 2 years of experience interfacing with customers
  • Must currently live in the Los Angeles, CA area
  • Able to travel up to 75%
