Responsibilities For Principal Embedded Software Engineer

  • Lead software development, verification, and validation for embedded biowearable products
  • Implement FDA-compliant design control procedures
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring for embedded software projects
  • Own technical aspects of C-based software products

Requirements For Principal Embedded Software Engineer

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering Mathematics, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience, Master's with 7+ years, or Ph.D. with 2+ years
  • Good knowledge of software engineering principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Programming experience in C programming languages
  • Experience with structured software development and Object Modeling Design
  • Experience with software development of embedded systems for safety-critical products
  • Strong debugging techniques in embedded environment
  • Knowledge of device driver and low-level device interface design
  • Experience in model based design (UML or SysML)
  • Experience with medical device development processes and FDA requirements
