Acceldata is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Solutions & Services team, focusing on integration engineering. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, where you'll be instrumental in implementing and customizing Acceldata's data observability platform for enterprise clients.
The position requires strong programming skills in Python or Java, along with experience in API integrations and cloud platforms. You'll be working directly with customers to develop custom connectors, troubleshoot integration issues, and create automation workflows that enhance the platform's functionality. As part of Acceldata's team, you'll be contributing to their innovative Agentic Data Management (ADM) platform, which uses AI-powered agents to transform how enterprises handle data observability. Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer (Integration Engineering)
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to implement and configure Acceldata platform integrations
- Develop custom connectors, scripts, or lightweight microservices for data ingestion and API integrations
- Troubleshoot integration issues including connectivity, data mapping, and transformation logic
- Participate in building and maintaining internal tools
- Write clear and maintainable code in Python or Java
- Document technical solutions and maintain knowledge base articles
- Learn and stay up to date with API integration, Connectors, Data virtualisation, and Database connectivity
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer (Integration Engineering)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience in software development, scripting, or integration work
- Exposure to at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.)
- Understanding of web technologies, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), or databases
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic SaaS environment
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and data formats
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
