Responsibilities For Infrastructure Security Engineer

  • Attend meetings and workshops with clients to understand requirements, challenges, and risks
  • Develop technology solutions in cooperation with various technology teams
  • Create design and support documentation for delivered services
  • Perform security analysis, controls audit and assessment
  • Perform infrastructure deployment and configuration
  • Conduct infrastructure testing and produce documentation

Requirements For Infrastructure Security Engineer

  • 3-5 years of security experience with major firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet)
  • Good knowledge of networking (switching, routing protocols, VPC, peering, gateways, SD-WAN)
  • Good knowledge of encryption and tunneling protocols (PKI, IPSec, SSL VPN, TLS, IKE, IKEv2)
  • Understanding of application protocols and content inspection
  • Understanding of baseline security requirements and platform hardening principles
  • Good verbal communication skills in English (German is a plus)
  • Experience creating design documents (HLD, LLD) and diagrams
  • Analytical mindset for problem solving under stress
  • Flexibility for international business trips
