The position offers an opportunity to work in a hybrid environment at their Liberty Village office, where you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain robust infrastructure systems. You'll be responsible for improving system reliability, implementing disaster recovery solutions, and automating operational processes using tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and various monitoring solutions.
The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of Linux experience, strong programming skills, and expertise in cloud platforms (GCP/AWS). Responsibilities For Senior Site Reliability Engineer
- Collaborate with Development & Data Infrastructure teams to enable quick and secure code releases
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations and leadership teams
- Optimize infrastructure operational tools and processes and automate processes
- Improve system reliability through disaster recovery, high availability, and fault tolerance initiatives
- Maintain and update infrastructure with latest technology
- Participate in on-call team rotation
Requirements For Senior Site Reliability Engineer
- 3+ years experience supporting Linux in an enterprise environment
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Bash and Python/Go/Ruby
- Advanced skills using software configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, or Ansible)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools - Terraform preferred
- Expertise with observability and monitoring tools and container orchestration - New Relic and Kubernetes preferred
- Cloud experience working in GCP or AWS
- Good problem solving and debugging skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
