Description For Associate Operations Engineer

Acquia, a leading open source digital experience company headquartered in Boston, is seeking an Associate Operations Engineer to join their team. This role is perfect for someone starting their DevOps career, with a focus on designing and delivering secure, highly available solutions. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including Linux, Kubernetes, PHP, Java, MySQL, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).

As an Associate Operations Engineer, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the Acquia platform's continuous operation and optimization. Your responsibilities will span from infrastructure automation to performance monitoring, working closely with Engineering and Support teams. The role offers hands-on experience with containerization, distributed systems, and modern DevOps practices.

The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of Linux experience and be proficient in scripting languages. Responsibilities For Associate Operations Engineer

  • Design and deliver secure and highly available solutions
  • Partner with Engineering and Support for deployment and continuous operation
  • Automate tasks for diagnostics, scaling, healing and deployments
  • Develop and deploy solutions across infrastructure, network, and application layers
  • Monitor platform availability and performance
  • Collaborate on customer issues with Support and Engineering
  • Work with distributed data infrastructure
  • Develop dashboards, monitors, and alerts
  • Participate in periodic on-call rotation
