Job Description

We are seeking a skilled 3D Pipeline Developer to join our team in a fully remote capacity, focusing on optimizing jewelry design and e-commerce production workflows. This role represents a unique intersection of technical development and creative artistry in the jewelry industry.

The position requires expertise in Blender and Python development, with a focus on creating efficient pipelines from CAD modeling to photorealistic rendering. You'll be responsible for developing automation solutions that significantly improve production efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards for jewelry visualization.

As the 3D Pipeline Developer, you'll work Monday to Friday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm PST) as an independent contractor. The role offers long-term engagement with competitive compensation based on experience. Your primary responsibilities will include designing robust Blender-based workflows, implementing Python automation scripts, and integrating various tools like RhinoGold, KeyShot, and Adobe Suite.

The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years of experience in 3D pipeline development, strong Python programming skills, and deep understanding of jewelry-specific workflows. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies, including AR applications and potentially AI tools for texture generation. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of jewelry design visualization and e-commerce operations.

Responsibilities For 3D Pipeline Developer

  • Design, build, and maintain robust Blender-based workflows for jewelry modeling, rendering, and asset management
  • Develop and implement Python scripts and add-ons for automation
  • Integrate Blender with essential tools such as RhinoGold, KeyShot, Adobe Suite, and e-commerce platforms
  • Establish and maintain standardized material libraries and lighting setups
  • Troubleshoot and optimize 3D asset performance for web and AR applications
  • Provide training and support to artists and designers
  • Collaborate with CAD teams to ensure manufacturing-ready outputs

Requirements For 3D Pipeline Developer

Python
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in 3D pipeline development with Blender
  • Strong proficiency in Python, including experience with Blender API
  • In-depth understanding of jewelry-specific workflows
  • Experience with render farms and cloud rendering solutions
  • Familiarity with version control systems and asset management principles
  • Experience with AI tools for texture generation (bonus)
  • Knowledge of USDZ/glTF pipelines for AR applications (bonus)
  • Background in jewelry manufacturing (bonus)
