Description For Sr. Software Data Engineer

Addepar, a leading global technology and data company managing over $7 trillion in assets, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for their Data Integrations Team. This role is crucial in the Addepar Platform team, working on a comprehensive data fabric that serves as a single source of truth for their product set. The position involves working with cutting-edge technology stack including PySpark, Python, AWS, Terraform, Java, and Kubernetes.

The role focuses on the acquisition, conversion, cleansing, and modeling of market and security master data from third-party providers. You'll be instrumental in enabling alignment across public and alternative investment data products, directly impacting how clients manage their investment portfolios. The position requires collaboration with product teams in an agile environment, contributing to complex engineering projects that drive business outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced data engineer who wants to make a significant impact in the FinTech space. The role offers exposure to modern technologies and complex data challenges in the investment management industry. Working from the Pune office 3 days a week under a hybrid model, you'll be part of a global team with offices across major financial and tech hubs including Silicon Valley, New York City, London, and Dubai.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills in data engineering, experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS), and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. While knowledge of financial concepts is helpful, what's most important is your technical expertise and ability to solve complex data challenges. You'll be joining a company with strong values including ownership mentality, collaborative spirit, client-first approach, innovation focus, and continuous learning.
