Adobe is seeking an experienced iOS Mobile SDK Engineer to join their Mobile Experience team within the Adobe Experience Cloud division. This role is crucial in developing mobile SDKs that enable customers to create interactive experiences in their mobile apps, serving Fortune 500 companies and processing billions of hits weekly.
The Adobe Experience Cloud is a $3B+ business serving 95%+ of fortune 500 organizations. The position focuses on Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), which provides a platform for designing cross-channel customer experiences and campaign orchestration. Built on Adobe Experience Platform, it combines real-time customer profiles, API-first framework, centralized offer decisioning, and AI/ML for personalization.
As an iOS Mobile SDK Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining features in Adobe Experience Platform Mobile SDKs. The role requires expertise in iOS development, particularly with Swift and SwiftUI. You'll work in a full DevOps environment, handling all engineering phases from early specs to deployment.
Key aspects include collaborating with cross-functional teams, staying current with marketplace trends, and implementing innovative features for mobile experiences. The position requires strong computer science fundamentals, extensive mobile platform knowledge, and the ability to work with various technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript and Kotlin.
The ideal candidate will have 14+ years of software development experience, strong iOS programming skills, and the ability to contribute to technical vision and roadmap development. Responsibilities For Senior Engineering Manager (iOS)
- Work with a team of engineers to Design, Build and Maintain features in Adobe Experience Platform Mobile SDKs
- Work in full DevOps mode, be responsible for all phases of engineering
- Continuously follow new trends in the marketplace and implement these in mobile SDKs
- Collaborate with architects, product management and other engineering teams to build technical vision and roadmap
- Research and prototype new features to evaluate them for inclusion
Requirements For Senior Engineering Manager (iOS)
- B.Tech / M.Tech degree in Computer Science
- 14+ years of shown experience in software development
- Extensive knowledge of mobile platforms and mobile app development experience
- Strong programming on iOS platform, Swift, Swift UI
- Excellent computer science fundamentals
- Good understanding of software design algorithms
- Good to have understanding of javascript/typescript, Kotlin
