Adobe is seeking a Software Quality Engineer - II to join their Illustrator Ecosystem team. This role involves taking products and features through the entire lifecycle from requirements to delivery, empowering over 3 million active users with new capabilities. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in manual testing for a product company, with skills in crafting test plans, exploratory testing, and excellent communication. Responsibilities include collaborating with development teams, writing and maintaining testware, driving end-to-end testing, building status reports, and interacting with customers for feedback. Responsibilities For Software Quality Engineer - II
- Collaborate with development and other QE on test execution
- Write, maintain, and implement testware (test cases, plans, reports, etc) for sophisticated features
- Drive End to End testing of assigned features
- Build periodic report on status of features under test
- Interact with Customers for Feedback on new features and Hard to Reproduce issues
- Work closely with Technical Support to capture customer feedback and ensure/add to following through with the customer on resolution
Requirements For Software Quality Engineer - II
- 2-4 years experience in Manual testing for a Product Company
- Experience in crafting test plan and test cases
- Ability to devise plan for exploratory testing and implement to identify the risk and communicate risks based on technical knowledge and experience
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Encourages confidence in testing abilities with minimal oversight
- Estimates and schedules own work accurately and with little supervision
- Preference will be given to candidates with artistic bent of mind
- Able to work independently with minimal direction
