Job Description

Affirm, a pioneering fintech company, is revolutionizing the credit industry by providing honest and transparent buy-now-pay-later solutions without hidden fees or compounding interest. They are seeking a Senior Partner Engineer to join their remote team in the United States.

This role sits at the crucial intersection of technical expertise and partner relationship management. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical bridge between Affirm and its external partners, providing day-to-day support while driving larger strategic initiatives. You'll be responsible for leading the development of project plans, creating integration documentation, and serving as a subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders.

The position requires a unique blend of technical prowess and communication skills. You'll need to understand multiple programming languages, have experience with e-commerce technologies, and be well-versed in modern web technologies including REST APIs, webhooks, and frontend-backend integration patterns. Your 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role will be essential in managing partner relationships and driving successful project outcomes.

Affirm offers an attractive compensation package with a base salary range of $142,000 - $210,000 (varying by location), plus comprehensive benefits including fully covered healthcare for employees and dependents, flexible spending wallets, and equity through their Employee Stock Purchase Plan. The company embraces a remote-first culture, providing flexibility while maintaining strong team collaboration.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled professional who enjoys working with partners and wants to make an impact in the fintech space. You'll be part of a mission-driven company that's transforming consumer banking while working with cutting-edge technologies and influential partners in the e-commerce space.
