Senior Software Engineer, Backend (Platform Reliability)

Affirm, a company revolutionizing the credit industry with honest and friendly payment solutions, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Infrastructure Platform Engineering team. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, availability, and operational efficiency of Affirm's distributed systems in a highly scalable, cloud-native environment.

As part of the Platform, Reliability and Infrastructure Operations group, you'll be instrumental in proactive failure mitigation, operational tooling, service scaling strategies, and on-call effectiveness. The role involves working with critical systems across Affirm's compute, storage, CI/CD, and observability stacks to maintain low-latency, highly available services.
