This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, requiring expertise in .NET/C# and modern technologies. The position involves leading complex distributed systems design, mentoring team members, and driving DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in a technical lead role, strong knowledge of SQL Server, and cloud-native development experience. Responsibilities For Lead .NET Software Engineer
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of robust, scalable software solutions using .NET/C#
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with high unit test coverage
- Provide technical leadership to the team
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to architectural vision and participate in reviews
- Mentor and support team members
- Identify and address technical risks and performance issues
- Drive DevOps practices implementation
- Stay informed on emerging technologies
- Create and maintain technical documentation
Requirements For Lead .NET Software Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, 2+ years in technical/team lead role
- Experience in designing complex distributed systems using .NET/C#
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles and patterns
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server
- Experience with cloud-native development (Azure preferred)
- DevOps practices experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills in Greek and English
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture (Kafka) is a plus
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (Blazor, React) is a plus
