Plug-in Java Developer – SLIMS Software

Agilent Technologies, a global leader in laboratory and clinical technologies, is seeking a Plug-in Java Developer for their SLIMS Software team in Ghent, Belgium. SLIMS is a comprehensive laboratory workflow management platform that tracks samples from intake to final results. As part of the Store R&D team, you'll develop plug-ins that enhance SLIMS' core functionality, working in a hybrid environment with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

The role involves writing new code, fixing bugs, and creating market-ready packages while collaborating with Store Application Engineers. You'll provide crucial support to delivery and sales teams for plug-in implementation and participate in code reviews. This position requires strong Java development skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to work effectively across teams.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, strong Java expertise, and full English proficiency.
