AIA, a centenarian pioneer in the insurance industry, is seeking a Generative AI Systems Developer to join their NewTech Platform Team in Seoul. This role is at the intersection of artificial intelligence and financial services, focusing on developing innovative solutions for insurance contract management and content management systems.
The position requires a seasoned professional with at least 3 years of experience in AI and machine learning, particularly in the financial sector. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining generative AI models, analyzing AI workflows, and designing architectures that meet AIA's business requirements. The role involves leading the planning and execution of AI-based platforms, conducting research on AI evaluation methods, and working with large language models (LLMs).
As part of AIA's technology division, you'll be working on transformative projects that aim to make insurance services more efficient and user-friendly. The role requires expertise in prompt engineering, AI agent architecture, and cloud systems, with a particular emphasis on practical application in the insurance industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing data applications using AI and machine learning, experience with LLMs and traditional machine learning techniques, and the ability to design and implement backend systems. Knowledge of Azure is a plus, as is English language proficiency.

Responsibilities For Generative AI Systems Developer
- Lead planning and execution of generative AI-based platforms suitable for life insurance business
- Conduct research on generative AI evaluation methods
- Design and develop AI applications and specifications
- Lead AI program development
- Design and improve AI agent architecture
- Identify and deliver key issues related to AI application requirements
- Monitor AI applications and resolve root causes of issues
- Build and improve AIOps governance systems
- Develop performance improvement plans for generative AI-based services
Requirements For Generative AI Systems Developer
- 3+ years of experience developing data applications using AI, machine learning, and advanced algorithms
- 3+ years of AI project experience in financial industry with LLM, traditional M/L, D/L (NLP, Vision)
- Strong prompt engineering skills
- Knowledge of AI Agent Architecture and workflow
- Experience in Cloud Architecture design
- Experience in designing and developing backend systems and web service APIs using LLMs
- Ability to quickly identify and proactively solve new problems
- Strong communication skills
- Azure experience preferred
- English language proficiency preferred
