Claims System Lead Developer

AIG is seeking a Claims System Lead Developer to spearhead their Claims Systems Transformation program. This key leadership role will be responsible for managing the development team and overseeing the modernization of claims systems. The position requires a seasoned professional with 10+ years of IT delivery experience and deep knowledge of P&C insurance in the Claims domain.

The role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, requiring someone who can both architect modern solutions and lead teams effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end claims IT systems modernization, working closely with various stakeholders across different domains including Billing, PAS, and Front-End systems.

Key technical requirements include expertise in modern IT architecture, development methodologies, and automation skills, along with experience in Open API frameworks and relational databases. Knowledge of Mainframe (AS/400) and low-code modernized workflow engine systems is advantageous. The position requires Japanese language proficiency (N3 or above) and business-level English fluency.
