AIG, a global leader in commercial and personal insurance solutions, is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on AIG's Standard Commercial Underwriting Platform (SCUP), focusing on both front-end and back-end development using Java, Spring, and Angular technologies.

The position requires a skilled developer with 4+ years of experience in the financial services sector, combining technical expertise with domain knowledge in insurance. You'll be responsible for creating low-level designs, performing development and unit testing, and collaborating with architecture teams on high-level design reviews.

Responsibilities For Full Stack Developer

  • Collaborate with architecture and design teams on high level design reviews
  • Create Low-level design (LLD) deliverables
  • Perform development & unit testing activities
  • Identify and manage development dependencies
  • Contribute to a culture of quality
  • Identify issue root causes, triage and resolve defects
  • Follow and improve development best practices
  • Support in sprint and end to end testing phases
  • Support onboarding of new team members

Requirements For Full Stack Developer

Java
TypeScript
  • 4+ years of experience supporting E2E design, development, delivery in the financial services sector
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
  • Hands on insurance domain development & architecture experience
  • Experience with Java full stack application development & architecture implementation expertise
  • Hands on full stack development experience with an emphasis on Java or Angular applications
  • Working knowledge of cloud computing paradigms, prominent industry design patterns, and agile development methodologies
  • Experience with Duck Creek Policy or equivalent solutions a plus
