Responsibilities For AMEIK APC Engineer
- Lead deployment of QAPC methodology in all production units
- Calculate and report efficiencies/savings generated by QAPC deployments
- Provide technical support for QAPC topics
- Improve low performing QAPC loops including troubleshooting, configuration, and loop tuning
- Ensure reliability is prioritized and enhanced while applying the QAPC actions
Requirements For AMEIK APC Engineer
- BSc degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required (MSc degree preferred)
- 5-10 years process industry experience
- Field experience in control system troubleshooting and support
- Experience in programmable control system specification and configuration
- Ability to perform loop tuning
- Knowledge in Process technologies
- Strong data science and statistics knowledge
- 35% travel requirement
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with Operating Systems virtualization platforms
- Knowledge of Google Office Productivity Suite
- Practical understanding of computer networking
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as DDE, OPC or Suitelink
