Description For Integration Engineer (API Solution Support)
Airbnb is seeking an Integration Engineer (API Solution Support) to join their API Integrations team. This role involves being the primary technical contact for software partners worldwide, ensuring smooth connections with the Airbnb API.
Key responsibilities include:
- Triaging, prioritizing, and troubleshooting issues reported by software partners
- Using various tools and logs to address partners' needs effectively
- Providing emergency support during on-call rotations
- Liaising between partners and internal teams
- Testing and documenting new API features
- Advocating for partners in product decisions
- Fostering strong connections with software partners
- Creating and updating user-facing documentation
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical support role
- Experience with REST APIs and related tools
- Understanding of coding concepts and familiarity with programming languages
- Strong SQL query skills
- Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills

Responsibilities For Integration Engineer (API Solution Support)

- Use a wide variety of tools and logs to address software partners' needs
- Provide emergency support during regular on-call rotations
- Liaise between software partners and Airbnb's internal teams
- Test, document, and share updates about new API features and changes
- Advocate for software partners by influencing product team and roadmap decisions
- Foster strong connections with software partners
- Create and update user-facing documentation
Requirements For Integration Engineer (API Solution Support)
Java
JavaScript
- 3+ years of experience in a similar customer-facing technical support role
- Experience working with REST APIs and related tools like PAW, Postman, Kibana, Grafana, Datadog, YAML, etc.
- Understanding of coding concepts and familiarity with programming languages, such as Java and JavaScript
- Understanding and writing complex SQL queries
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Enjoy puzzle-solving, tinkering, testing and experimenting with APIs
