Senior Software Engineer, Guest & Host

The role is specifically focused on the Listings Backend team, whose mission is critical to enabling host journey success through the implementation of backend functionality for the Listing platforms LYS and MYS. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of building and maintaining the systems that power Airbnb's core listing functionality.

Your responsibilities will include leading technical scoping phases, implementing new functionalities, and building efficient, reusable backend components while ensuring high performance and scalability. You'll work closely with client teams, product managers, and designers to align on requirements and bring new features to life. The position requires 6+ years of industry experience and a strong background in building high-traffic systems. The role offers competitive compensation ($191,000 - $223,000), along with benefits including equity, bonuses, and employee travel credits.
