Job Description

Airbus Defence and Space Limited is seeking a Graduate Satellite AIT Electrical Engineer to join their team in Stevenage as part of their Global Graduate Programme starting September 2026. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge space technology projects, including ESA missions like Solar Orbiter and ExoMars Rover. The position combines electrical engineering with software development, focusing on spacecraft assembly, integration, and testing.

The two-year development program provides comprehensive training, rotational placements, and direct involvement in mission-critical projects. You'll work with various spacecraft subsystems, perform electrical measurements, write and debug scripts, investigate anomalies, and potentially travel overseas for environmental test campaigns and spacecraft launches.

This role is perfect for recent graduates with a background in Electronics, Electrical Systems, Avionics, or Space Engineering who have strong programming skills in C, Java, and bash scripting. You'll be part of a collaborative team environment focused on innovation and will have opportunities to develop both technical and leadership skills.

The position includes participation in an annual development week with other global graduates, learning from industry leaders, and gaining deep insights into Airbus's operations.
