Job Description
Airbus Defence and Space, a division of Airbus Group and Europe's leading defence and space company, is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer in Bucharest. The role involves developing and maintaining software modules using various programming languages including Java, C/C++, Rust, and Python. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience and strong expertise in software development, system integration, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities For Software Engineer Middle
- Review requirements, specifications and technical documentation
- Create and maintain software modules in Java, C/C++, Rust, Python
- Carry out Software development activities on the system integration platform
- Create and perform research (Proof of Concepts) for various software technologies
- Participate in project ceremonies (Agile, Waterfall, V-Model)
- Travel outside the country may be required
Requirements For Software Engineer Middle
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar background
- Solid knowledge in 1 OOP programming language Java, Python, C++
- Experience in Java/Python/C/C++/Rust
- Solid understanding of software design patterns
- Knowledge of communication/networking interfaces and protocols (TCP/IP stack)
- Knowledge of continuous integration, build and deployment tools
- Knowledge of JIRA ticketing system
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English
- Clean police record
