Engineer - Methods & Tools

Airbus India is seeking a Senior Methods & Tools Engineer to join their engineering team in Bangalore. The role is part of a transverse team working with different core engineering verticals, focusing on providing digital solutions to engineering problems. The position combines core engineering domain knowledge with software development expertise.

The M&T team plays a crucial role in various digitization initiatives across Airbus, utilizing the latest technologies while leveraging domain knowledge. Projects include developing data-driven designs for wiring, automated routing of electrical harnesses, and creating data analytics-based products aimed at reducing physical tests of material specimens. The team also develops web-based solutions to streamline workflows such as flight test planning and tools for Electrical Wiring Harness and Hydraulic Circuit design process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience with strong technical skills in Java, web technologies, and cloud platforms. They should be comfortable working in an Agile/SAFe environment and possess excellent communication skills.
