Job Description

Airbus India Private Limited is seeking a Lead Avionics Verification Engineer to join their team in Bangalore. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety and reliability of aviation software systems. The position involves working on verification & validation for safety-critical real-time embedded software for avionics applications, specifically conforming to DO 178 B/C standards for Airbus Helicopters.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software verification and validation, with a strong background in embedded systems and avionics. You'll be responsible for leading verification activities, from unit testing to integration testing, while also mentoring team members and managing certification audits. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills.

  • Verification & Validation of high-level requirements
  • Unit level verification of software modules
  • Integration testing (software-software & software-Hardware)
  • Analysis of issues raised during testing campaigns or in-service usage
  • Leading and mentoring team members for testing
  • Driving certification audits under verification perimeter

Requirements For Lead Avionics Verification Engineer

  • Experience in requirements based testing
  • Experience in unit and integration testing (host & target environment)
  • Knowledge of software configuration management
  • Experience with software requirements and design reviews
  • Knowledge of DO 178 standard
  • Project Management skills
  • Basic understanding of RTOS
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in embedded programming
  • Knowledge of avionics systems and network
