The role involves integrating customer systems into Airbus Protect's MSSP platform, managing security services, and ensuring smooth customer onboarding. You'll work with technologies like Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and various security tools while supporting the Managed Security Service operations.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of vocational training in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or IT, along with hands-on experience in security engineering, cloud technologies, and programming. Knowledge of Windows/AD, Linux, and cloud platforms, particularly Azure, is essential. Programming skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell are required, as is familiarity with DevOps practices.

Responsibilities For Cyber Defence Engineer

  • Integration of customer systems and data into Airbus Protect's MSSP tool and platform landscape
  • Supporting day-to-day operational tasks within the Managed Security Service (MSS)
  • Deploy and configure Azure resources for customers and internal stakeholders
  • Capture and analyze customer requirements
  • Create customer documentation
  • Support operational tasks and troubleshooting
  • Act as technical point of contact during customer onboarding
  • Deploy and connect Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender for Cloud
  • Support User Account Management

Requirements For Cyber Defence Engineer

  • Completed vocational training of at least 3 years in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or IT
  • Experience in security engineering Windows/AD, Linux, Network and Cloud technologies
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud Operations & Administration
  • Experience with Python, Bash, Powershell, and DevOps, CI/CD pipeline
  • Results-driven mentality with personal initiative
  • Analytical skills to solve complex problems
  • Collaborative team player
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Willingness for occasional business travel
