Job Description

Airbus UpNext, a pioneering subsidiary of Airbus focused on aerospace innovation, is seeking a Control System Engineer for their Getafe, Spain location. This role is part of a groundbreaking project to evaluate innovative more electric architecture for aircraft non-propulsive energy (NPE). The position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex systems including energy storage, electrical power generation, distribution, and control systems within a ground test facility.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in control systems design and integration, with a Master's degree in Engineering. You'll be responsible for developing system architecture, specifications, and verification strategies for control systems and their components. The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies in aviation and implementing new system architectures with novel operational constraints.

Responsibilities For Control System Engineer

  • Support control system specification and detailed architecture development
  • Support control system software specification, design, implementation, validation and verification
  • Support control system integration test bench specification and validation
  • Support control system integration and ground test verification activities
  • Contribute to equipment and component selection

Requirements For Control System Engineer

  • At least 3 years' experience in Control systems design and integration activities
  • Proven background on Electrical and Control & Monitoring systems design and integration
  • Experience in supplier management activities
  • Master degree in Engineering
