You'll work alongside global experts pioneering next-generation spaceborne radar and radiometer payloads.

The role involves hands-on experience in developing technology that will image Earth in detail, monitoring sea-ice zones, enabling humanitarian aid through crisis mapping, assessing land-surface motion risks, and tracking changes in forests, water, and agriculture. This internship combines practical engineering experience with meaningful impact on global environmental monitoring and humanitarian efforts.

As part of the instrument development team, you'll engage in various technical activities including architecture design, payload systems engineering, and detailed analysis of space-based payloads. You'll work with cutting-edge technology while learning from industry experts in a collaborative environment. The position offers competitive compensation at £23,850 per year, flexible working arrangements including half-day Fridays, and comprehensive holiday benefits.

This role is perfect for undergraduates pursuing degrees in Physics, Engineering, Electronics, or Microwave, who are passionate about space technology and its applications in Earth observation.
