Job Description

Airbus, a global leader in aerospace and defense, is seeking a Flight Control & Autopilot Systems Testing Engineer to join their team in Toulouse. This role sits within the Flight and Integration Tests center, focusing on Flight Control and Autopilot system integration testing across all programs. The position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge aerospace technology, combining hands-on testing experience with innovative approaches to system validation.

The role involves working with laboratory test benches, aircraft integration simulators, and flight test aircraft. You'll be responsible for analyzing test requirements, developing test procedures, and conducting system validations. The position requires a blend of technical expertise in flight mechanics, testing methodologies, and programming skills, particularly in Python.

  • Analyzing and harmonizing test orders/requests according to test strategy
  • Defining and writing test procedures for system design validation
  • Learning airline operational procedures for test scenarios
  • Performing tests on benches and simulators
  • Supporting flight tests through real-time analysis
  • Participating in working groups with Design Office and Flight Test Engineers
  • Reporting and classifying identified issues
  • Contributing to innovation and continuous improvement

Requirements For Flight Control & Autopilot Systems Testing Engineer

Python
  • Degree in Aeronautics or related field
