Responsibilities For Software development Engineer - All gender

  • Software engineering on PLC and HMI platform for Alfa Laval products
  • Web-based HMI development using company design language
  • Establishing global automation standards through cross-site collaboration
  • Working in sprints as part of a self-organizing team
  • Maintain previous releases of PLC / HMI software

Requirements For Software development Engineer - All gender

  • University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Mechatronics/Control & Automation/Embedded Systems/Industrial Automation
  • Experience in PLC software development using ST/FBD and IEC-61131-3 programming languages, C, C++
  • More than 1 year of work experience in software development
  • Proficiency with configuring and programming VFDs
  • Experience in industrial communication protocols (ProfNet, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, Modbus, etc.)
  • Experience in B&R / Siemens / Allen Bradley / PLC platforms
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Experience in reading P&ID / Electrical drawings / FDS
