ADC Engineer II, AWS Cryptography and Identity Management (Diplomat Team)

AWS Cryptography and Identity are building and delivering the next generation of cloud computing security. This role involves working with a team of highly talented engineers operating Cryptography and Identity systems at AWS. The position focuses on building massively scalable distributed security systems involving identity management, federation, and web services security. The role requires managing and troubleshooting complex system operations at an enterprise level, with a strong foundation in multiple operating systems, networking, and cloud services.

The position is within the AWS Utility Computing (UC) organization, which provides foundational services like S3 and EC2, along with continuous product innovations. The role specifically supports the Diplomat Team, requiring an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. The successful candidate will work on creating and managing proactive engineering mechanisms for distributed Linux server fleets and their software stacks.

Key responsibilities include deploying and monitoring systems automation, utilizing metrics to identify improvements, and working closely with both systems and software engineers.
