Job Description

AWS Utility Computing (UC) is seeking a Windows Systems Engineer for the Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) team within Region Services Corporate Infrastructure (RSCI). This role focuses on managing and maintaining Windows Active Directory and desktop services for specialized security solutions.

The position requires deep knowledge of Windows infrastructure and active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. You'll be responsible for maintaining Active Directory, component systems, security compliance, and system documentation while working in a dynamic cloud environment.

Responsibilities For ADC Windows Client Engineer, Region Services Corporate Infrastructure (RSCI) - Vector

  • Manage/Operate and Maintain Active Directory and component systems (DNS, DHCP, NPS, Exchange)
  • Security compliance including hardening OS and desktop applications
  • Manage metrics and monitoring services
  • Create and update system documentation for engineering, operations, and support teams
  • Maintain and enhance existing services including Windows build/deployment capabilities
  • Work closely with Security Compliance team

Requirements For ADC Windows Client Engineer, Region Services Corporate Infrastructure (RSCI) - Vector

  • Associate's degree, or Cloud+ or GICSP or GSEC or SSCP certification
  • 1+ years administering Active Directory Windows based networks
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Windows networking basic skills and troubleshooting
