Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking talented engineers to expand their Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) services for government customers. This role combines expertise in Operations, Networking, and Systems Engineering to support one of the largest compute services globally. The position requires maintaining an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

As part of the AWS Utility Computing (UC) organization, you'll work on foundational services like Amazon S3 and EC2, while supporting customers requiring specialized security solutions. Requirements For Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineer II, US ADC Compute Operations

  • Associate's degree or above, or Cloud+ or GICSP or GSEC or SSCP certification
  • 5+ years of Linux systems administration and engineering experience
  • Experience working with scripting languages such as bash, zsh, perl, and/or python
  • Experience with automating tasks
  • Current, active UC Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
