Associate Security Engineer, Global Services Security

AWS Global Services Security is seeking an Associate Security Engineer to join their Threat Detection and Incident Response Practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on planetary-scale incident response solutions in the cloud, helping customers build and implement threat detection capabilities using highly scalable computing architectures.

As part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), you'll work with leading companies to ensure world-class security support. The role involves performing incident response operations, designing automated security solutions, and serving as a technical resource for customers during security events.

The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS platform operations, technical IT security, and incident response. Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Node.js, JavaScript, or SQL are preferred. You'll be responsible for developing automation tools, reference architectures, and white papers while mentoring consultants and customers.
