Job Description

Amazon's EU Global Fleet and Products (GFP) - Fleet Planning and Capacity team (FPAC) is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is crucial in optimizing Amazon's delivery network and package journey. The position involves working with large datasets to provide insights that help deliver billions of packages annually.

As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing high-efficiency Fleet planning tools in the Last Mile space. The role requires expertise in data analysis, visualization, and engineering solutions that support critical process improvement automations. You'll work on complex initiatives with significant impact across multiple organizations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engineering critical input and output metrics
  • Creating performance metrics for operational analysis
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Developing tools and dashboards
  • Working with AWS products including Glue, Redshift, Quicksight, and Lambda

  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse
  • Experience with Python for data processing
  • Experience in the data/BI space
