Join Amazon's AMZL EU Launch and Expansion team as a Business Intelligence Engineer focusing on Capacity Strategy and Insight. This role is crucial in growing Amazon's last-mile delivery capability across Europe, with emphasis on optimization, automation, and scalability. You'll be responsible for improving tools, reporting, and insights that enable effective scaling over the next 3-6 years.

As a BI Engineer, you'll work with large-scale data to optimize last-mile delivery operations, creating reports and deriving actionable insights. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and build automation tools that help manage increasing complexity at scale. The role combines analytical skills, business judgment, and strategic thinking to innovate on behalf of customers.

  • Manage analytics and modelling projects across multiple internal customers
  • Act as design contributor for data architecture
  • Handle large volumes of data to optimize last-mile delivery operations
  • Create reports, analyse data, and derive actionable insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes
  • Build tools and automate mechanisms for scaling
  • Own projects from inception to completion
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements For Business Intelligence Engineer, Capacity Strategy and Insight within the AMZL EU Launch and Expansion team

Python
  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse
  • Experience with scripting in Python to process data for modeling
