Job Description

Join Amazon's AMZL EU Launch and Expansion team as a Business Intelligence Engineer focusing on Capacity Strategy and Insight. This role is crucial in growing Amazon's last-mile delivery capability across Europe, with emphasis on optimization, automation, and scalability. You'll be responsible for improving tools, reporting, and insights that enable effective scaling over the next 3-6 years.

As a BI Engineer, you'll work with large-scale data to optimize last-mile delivery operations, creating reports and deriving actionable insights. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and build automation tools that handle increasing complexity. The role combines analytical skills, business judgment, and strategic thinking to innovate on behalf of customers.

The position sits within Amazon's logistics network, where you'll be part of the team making the magic happen between a customer's click and their package arrival. You'll work with diverse datasets, advanced analytics tools, and cutting-edge technology to ensure Amazon has sufficient delivery capacity across Europe.

Key technologies include SQL, Python, data visualization tools (Tableau/Quicksight), and various statistical analysis packages. Experience with AWS solutions like EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift is valuable. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where you'll own projects from inception to completion, while collaborating with multiple stakeholders to drive business decisions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a data professional who wants to make a significant impact on Amazon's European logistics operations, working with cutting-edge technology and massive datasets to solve complex supply chain challenges.
