Job Description

Join Amazon's AMZL EU Launch and Expansion team as a Business Intelligence Engineer focusing on Capacity Strategy and Insight. This role is crucial in growing Amazon's last-mile delivery capability across Europe.

You'll focus on optimization, automation, and scalability, improving tools, reporting, and insights for effective scaling over the next 3-6 years. Your responsibilities include building data automation and modeling solutions, maintaining data architecture, and streamlining internal processes for infrastructure and capacity planning.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing analytics and modeling projects across multiple internal customers
  • Contributing to data architecture design and roadmap development
  • Handling large volumes of data to optimize last-mile delivery operations
  • Creating reports and deriving actionable insights
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve planning and forecasting processes
  • Building tools and automating mechanisms for scaling operations
  • Owning projects from inception to completion

The role combines analytical skills, business judgment, and strategic thinking to innovate for customers. You'll work with diverse teams, create reports, discover new technical capabilities, build tools, and influence work processes within Launch & Expansion.

Required technical skills include experience with:

  • Data analysis using Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL
  • Data visualization (Tableau, Quicksight)
  • Data modeling and ETL pipelines
  • Statistical Analysis (R, SAS, Matlab)
  • SQL and Python
  • AWS solutions (preferred)

  • Experience using SQL to pull data from databases
