Job Description

Join Amazon's Omnichannel Grocery Advertising (OGA) team in a startup-like environment backed by Amazon's extensive resources. As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on millions of Amazon customers worldwide while working with cutting-edge technologies. You'll be responsible for analyzing physical store shopping data and creating sophisticated data solutions that power business decisions. Responsibilities For Business Intelligence Engineer - Grocery Ads, Grocery Advertising

  • Analyze physical store shopping data to propose innovative and profitable business initiatives
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to measure shopper experience
  • Apply data mining and quantitative analysis to understand customer interactions
  • Own design, development and maintenance of performance metrics, reports and dashboards
  • Build scalable solutions and self-serve platforms for data/KPI reporting
  • Build data visualizations to support decision making
  • Develop new metrics and studies to quantify customer behavior

Requirements For Business Intelligence Engineer - Grocery Ads, Grocery Advertising

Python
  • 10+ years of professional or military experience
  • 5+ years of SQL experience
  • Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
  • Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis
  • Experience with AWS technologies
  • Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills
  • Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
