Business Intelligence Engineer, Solution Engineering, JCFS

Amazon Japan is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join their Solution Engineering team under Japan Customer Fulfillment Solutions (JCFS) in Tokyo. This highly technical role requires excellence in analytical and statistical skills, combined with deep knowledge of business intelligence solutions.

The role involves spending 60-70% of time on assigned projects and 30-40% on ad hoc data/analysis requests. You'll work closely with BIML team members and project stakeholders, having weekly syncs and regular 1:1s with your manager. The team conducts quarterly offsite meetings to discuss growth strategy and enhance collaboration.

As part of JCFS, you'll be working on developing innovative fulfillment and automation solutions to deliver excellent customer experience. The mission is to continuously improve item selection and convenience at lower prices through technological innovations. The Solution Engineering team drives development and implementation across multiple fields including Hardware, Software, Processes, and Packaging Materials.

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable data solutions, partnering with global teams for data management, conducting deep dive analyses, and developing mechanisms to enhance customer experiences. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies and have the opportunity to localize solutions for the Japanese market.
