The BI and Data Engineering team focuses on solving complex transportation problems using workflows, optimization algorithms, and machine learning systems. These large-scale distributed systems handle millions of packages shipped through Amazon's logistics network.

As a Business Intelligence Engineer II, you will be responsible for developing crucial datasets, dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools. Your role involves providing data-driven recommendations to support strategic planning within Amazon Shipping and delivering projects that improve overall cost and profitability.

Key responsibilities include managing and integrating data from various sources, conducting complex data analysis to identify trends and patterns, creating comprehensive visualizations and reports, collaborating with stakeholders, and staying current with the latest BI tools and technologies.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience with data analysis tools like Redshift, Oracle, and NoSQL, proficiency in data visualization platforms, and expertise in statistical analysis packages. Experience with AWS solutions and working with large-scale, complex datasets in a business environment is highly valued.
