Job Description

Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) is seeking an experienced Cloud Application Developer to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of cloud technology adoption, helping customers architect, develop, and re-engineer applications that fully leverage the AWS Cloud. You'll be working on business-critical projects that drive innovation and customer success, designing and implementing cloud-native solutions that embrace AWS best practices for elasticity, horizontal scalability, automation, and high availability.

As part of AWS Professional Services, a global team of experts, you'll collaborate with customer teams and AWS Partners to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives through focused guidance and hands-on implementation. The role involves working with various AWS services including Amazon EC2, Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Serverless Architectures, and Amazon Elastic Container Services.

Requirements For Cloud Application Developer, Application Migration, Modernization and Management (AM3)

  • 5+ years of experience in application development with experience on cloud platforms
  • Expert-level proficiency in at least one programming language (TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, React, Java, C#, Go)
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns and microservices
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices, GitOps and CI/CD tools
  • Experience with Infrastructure as code tooling e.g CloudFormation, CDK or Terraform
