Description For Cloud Support Engineer (Security)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. As a Cloud Support Engineer (Security) at Amazon Web Services, you will be at the forefront of transformational cloud technology, assisting a global list of companies and developers in leveraging AWS services for their mission-critical applications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Learning and using groundbreaking technologies
  • Applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions
  • Interacting with leading engineers worldwide
  • Partnering with Amazon teams to reproduce and resolve customer issues
  • Providing feedback to internal teams on service improvements
  • Driving customer communication during critical events

Requirements For Cloud Support Engineer (Security)

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience in a technical position
  • 2+ years of network, security and operating system support experience
  • 2+ years of distributed systems experience
  • 2+ years of information security and compliance experience
