AWS Data Center Engineering is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team responsible for the design and planning of AWS's global data center infrastructure. In this role, you'll be crucial in designing and delivering the physical security environment that hosts AWS's industry-leading cloud services. You'll work on complex challenges, balancing various data points to enhance physical security and reliability.

The position involves working with the AWS Facility Operations Center (FOC) team, serving as a technical resource and leader to drive the team's long-term vision within the Data Center Community (DCC). You'll be responsible for designing and implementing data management systems, building secure and scalable data solutions, and working closely with business customers to support their analytical needs.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for maintaining highly reliable, distributed systems operating 24/7/365.
