Description For Data Engineer II, F3 DASH

Amazon Fresh's Central Data Infrastructure team (DASH) is seeking a Data Engineer II to join their fastest-growing business unit. This role is integral to building a world-class, centralized, and secure data infrastructure for Amazon's Worldwide Omnichannel Grocery Business. The position offers the opportunity to work on VP-level visibility initiatives and shape how grocery data is managed globally.

The role involves working with cutting-edge Big Data technologies and requires expertise in data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and AWS services. You'll be responsible for building scalable data solutions that can process over 1 trillion rows within hours, collaborating with Business Intelligence Engineers and Data Scientists, and driving architectural decisions that enable world-class user experiences.

F3 DASH, as Amazon Fresh's central data team, is responsible for creating and maintaining Amazon Grocery's global data infrastructure. The team's mission is to make grocery data easily accessible across multiple businesses from a single location. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $118,900 to $205,600 based on location, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of data engineering experience, strong SQL and data modeling skills, and preferably experience with AWS technologies. You'll be joining a team that's focused on delivering top-line and bottom-line impact to Amazon's grocery business through standardized metrics and automated decision-making capabilities.
