AWS Commerce Platform (CP) is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join their team in building a cutting-edge, highly scalable data platform. This role is crucial in supporting CP BI and operational analytics, processing trillions of events monthly. You'll be working with one of the world's largest and most complex data environments, supporting the platform that allows customers to purchase AWS services.

As a Data Engineer, you'll have end-to-end ownership of data engineering solutions and play an integral role in strategic decision-making. The position offers the opportunity to work with massive datasets and implement solutions using advanced AWS technologies like Redshift, Glue, Lambda, and MWAA. You'll be part of a team that processes over $36 billion worth of bills annually, working to transform manual operations through automation and innovation.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, possessing strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You'll collaborate with BI engineers, software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to solve unique business problems.   • Design, implement, and support an analytical platform providing approved access to large datasets
  • Managing AWS resources including Redshift, Glue, Lambda, MWAA
  • Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data
  • Build robust and scalable data integration (ETL) pipelines
  • Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis
  • Work closely with BI engineers, software developers, and product managers
  • Build and deliver high quality data solutions

Requirements For Data Engineer II, Monetization Product and Engineering

  • 3+ years of data engineering experience
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
