The Amazon Prime team is looking for a detailed-oriented business intelligence engineer to lead the business intelligence for Prime and drive member insights. This role requires excellent team leadership skills, outstanding business acumen, and the ability to work across multiple Amazon Prime Business Teams, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, and Software Development teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing a long-term analytical strategy and driving its implementation
- Using analytics to influence multiple departments, increasing their productivity and effectiveness
- Identifying, developing, managing, and executing analyses to uncover opportunities
- Large-scale data mining to find trends and problems
- Applying Statistical and Machine Learning methods to specific business problems
- Partnering with the Machine Learning team in Model Building
- Owning the design, development, and maintenance of metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, have strong attention to detail, and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Requirements For Data Scientist, Amazon Prime India, Amazon
- 2+ years of data scientist experience
- 3+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL) experience
- 3+ years of scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab) experience
- 3+ years of machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques experience
- Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment
