AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. As a Data Center Manager of Construction (CM MGR), you will be part of a diverse team tasked with solving fascinating problems constructing Amazon Data Centers. You will own project scope, quality, schedule, and budget for construction of new builds or general capital projects. Key responsibilities include being Amazon's construction representative on multiple data center building and capital improvement construction project sites, managing and driving cost, schedule, and quality while managing construction contractors and vendors, and supporting commissioning and integrated system testing and oversight. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent engineering science plus 10 years of relevant construction experience, OR 14 years of relevant construction experience in lieu of a degree. Experience in construction management of large, complex projects involving large-scale mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) plants is required.
