Job Description

Join one of the fastest-growing organizations within Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an Enterprise Account Engineer (EAE) in the National Security division. This role combines technical expertise with customer relationship management, focusing on helping organizations from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises maximize their AWS usage. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including Compute, Storage, Database, Machine Learning, and Security services.

As an EAE, you'll serve as the principal technical advisor to customers, helping them adopt and optimize AWS services like EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, and SageMaker. Your role involves crafting technical strategies, providing best practices guidance, and ensuring operational excellence. You'll need to balance technical depth with strong communication skills, as you'll regularly engage with senior leadership on technical strategy and risk management.

AWS offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical coverage, equity compensation, and sign-on bonuses. The company strongly values diversity and inclusion, with employee-led affinity groups and ongoing learning experiences. Career growth is supported through mentorship and knowledge-sharing opportunities.

The position requires TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and US citizenship. While based primarily in various Virginia locations, the role offers some flexibility with a hybrid work arrangement, though 10% travel may be required. Compensation ranges from $118,200 to $204,300 based on location and experience, plus additional benefits and equity.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technical professionals who want to work at the intersection of cloud technology and national security, helping organizations leverage AWS's comprehensive suite of services while maintaining the highest security standards.
