As an FPGA Engineer in the Kuiper Payload team, you'll be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge FPGA solutions for satellite communications.

You'll be responsible for creating digital designs for networking functions using state-of-the-art FPGA technologies and modern design processes. Working with system architects and various engineering teams, you'll develop, implement, and validate FPGA-based solutions that are crucial to Project Kuiper's success.
Key responsibilities include owning FPGA bitstreams, managing the complete development lifecycle from microarchitecture to silicon validation, and collaborating with multiple teams to integrate FPGA, firmware, RF, and networking functions. You'll drive trade-off analyses to optimize technology resources for cost, size, power, performance, and features.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in FPGA design and implementation, with strong skills in System Verilog RTL coding and modern ASIC/FPGA design tools. You'll need to demonstrate expertise in uArchitecture, RTL coding, FPGA optimization, simulation, and validation. Experience with high-speed networking, SerDes, and Ethernet technologies is highly valued.
This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $129,800 to $212,800 per year, depending on location, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, financial, and other perks.
